Any activity produces an impact on the environment, which can be reduced if known.
An environmental assessment study allows to study the environmental profile of any system and obtain the results for various impact categories or indicators.
For example, categories such as Carbon Footprint (or Global Warming), Abiotic depletion – fossil fuels or other categories related to the environment, human health or natural resources can be evaluated.
These studies are based on Life Cycle Assessment, which is applied to the studied system.

Some examples of environmental studies are:
- What is the repercussion of a change in raw material on the environmental impact of the product?
Due to a customer demand we are considering a raw material change. Through an environmental analysis we can see if there is an environmental improvement.
- Evaluation of 3 agricultural production systems
The aim is to environmentally compare different alternatives of agricultural production. Various categories can be evaluated, such as toxicity, climate change, water use, to determine which system is the most convenient considering its productivity
- Environmental evaluation of several improved packaging designs
The marketing department proposes a packaging change. The different alternatives are evaluated to know which is the best option from an environmental point of view, which, together with the economic component, will provide more information to choose the new packaging.
- Is the new sales system better environmentally?
The company wants to establish a new way to sell and interact with customers. In addition to the economic study, the impact of the new system can be evaluated environmentally in relation to the previous one and offer possible improvements to the new system.
In Re-Viu we are dedicated to elaborate environmental evaluation studies. Thanks to our experience we can evaluate any system or product.
